Having grown up in a musicians’ family, Thanasis Vassilopoulos has been involved in music since he was 5 years old. The subversive master of clarinet is the only soloist and the most important clarinetist of his generation in Greece. He has collaborated with leading Greek artists and also composers, in recordings and live performances, in Greece and abroad.

Whether he appears in public, playing alone or with companions, the notes from his passionate playing with his French handmade, 120-year-old clarinet always touches the hearts of his audience.
